Dale Ellen Brooks (nee Brennan), age 82, of Essington, PA, passed away on May 10, 2021.

She was born to parents John and Swea Brennan, on September 11, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA.

Dale passed away peacefully at night on May 10th of 2021 surrounded by the warmth of her loving family after fighting a brief illness throughout this year.

Dale's biggest accomplishment was ultimately owning Danny's Hamburgers for over 35 years with her daughter, Kathy, by her side. Danny's was a place where food and friendship were the main menu items and many lifelong friendships were formed. After 35 years of service, she retired from Danny's Hamburgers in 2020.

Dale is survived by her son, John Harris, her daughter's, Virginia Harris, Kathy (Harris) Samuelian, and Elizabeth (Harris) Hatzakis, her stepdaughter, Beverly (Wilson) Lanshe, her son-in-law's, John Hatzakis and George Samuelian, her daughter-in-law, Luanne Harris, her step grandchildren, Sarah Lanshe and Stephen Lanshe, her grandson paul's fiance, Hayley Apakian, her granddaughter's Katerina Hatzakis and Krystle (Harris) Ford, her grandson's, Paul Hatzakis, James Harris, Brent Kravitz, James Kravitz and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wellington (Bill) Wilson, Edward Clark, Albert Brooks, and her son, Wesley Harris.

The family has entrusted McConaghy Funeral Home with the arrangements. A Visitation is scheduled for Monday May 17th  from 10 to 11 AM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, PA 19003. A brief Prayer Service for the family will follow at McConaghy Funeral Home beginning at 11 AM.  Interment is private.
