Colleen Louise Hindsley 1970-2024

Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend, Mentor and Creative artist of Villanova Pa died suddenly on January 6, 2024 in Southern California where she was living.

Colleen was the daughter of the late Joe and Nancy Hindsley.

Colleen leaves behind her sisters and brother; Patti, Joe (Lisa Hindsley), Debi (Mark Clark deceased), Lynda (Mark Markel) and Kim (Brandon Reber). Her adoring nieces and nephews; Paige, Hailey, Dylan, Katelyn (William Hatch), Jennifer (Rich Iannone), Joe, Jessie, Matthew, Mairead and Colleen and her 2 grandnieces the M & M's Mackenzie and Monroe and her 3 grandnephews Joseph, Eddie, and Markie. She was the Mom of Sunshine the Cavachon and before that Delilah the 2 loves of her life.

Colleen was raised in Havertown PA and Villanova PA and graduated from Archbishop Carroll June 1988.  She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education at Penn State University May 1993.

She started her business career in New York city in Pharmaceutical Advertising at Regan, Cambell, Ward @McCann where she was honored at the 2006 HBA Woman of the Year award in the Rising Star category. All the while keeping with her true passion and creative energy in the entertainment business.  She was an avid storyteller and was in a band called Side XF where she was the lead singer.  She was always writing and took her show on the road with "That's not how it happened".  She was an avid supporter of fellow artists and appeared in many Fringe shows in New York City and various entertainment venues around the United States.  When the pandemic hit and the world shut down she made her way out to California to work on her screen plays which she was working on when she passed.

Colleen was more than just a friend.  She was as an avid dog mom and cherished her dear Dog Mom's in California. She was a beacon of light, radiating kindness, intelligence, and beauty.  Her adventurous spirit and generous nature endeared her to a wide circle of admirers near and far.

Colleen possessed a unique ability to bring people together, fostering connections and creating a sense of belonging. Her impact on the lives she touched will be EVERLASTING AND KILLING THE BLUES!

Relatives and friends are invited on Friday April 26th, Visitation from 9 to 10:15 AM with Funeral Mass to begin at 10:30 AM at St. Katharine of Siena Church, Lancaster & Aberdeen Aves., Wayne, PA.  Interment will be private at a later date.
