CLELIA W. ("Sally"), on July 28, 2022, of Bryn Mawr, PA .  Beloved wife of the Late Frank B. Mallory.  Loving stepmother of Mary Mallory Wrenn (Robert), Paul Mallory (Kelly), Michele Mallory Penner (Terry) and the late Philip Mallory.  She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Sally was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 9, 1938. Her parents were Charles Otis Wood and Clelia Emma Adams. She was educated at St. Mary's School in Peekskill, New York before attending Bryn Mawr College. She received a B.A. in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr in 1959 and went on to receive a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Bryn Mawr in 1963.

Sally married Frank Mallory on November 26, 1965, and their marriage lasted almost 52 years until Frank's death in 2017.

After working as a Research Associate in Chemistry at Bryn Mawr, and as a Lecturer at Yale University, Sally began work in 1980 as a lecturer in the Chemistry Department at the University of Pennsylvania and continued teaching thousands of students there over the next 38 years, winning several awards for her teaching. She co-authored with her husband Frank Mallory, W. Alton Jones Professor of Chemistry at Bryn Mawr College, several dozen articles that appeared in journals in the field of organic chemistry.
