Dr. Weerasinghe was born on February 12, 1943 in Sri Lanka. She came to the United States in 1983. Dr. Weerasinge was a psychiatrist who worked in various clinics and hospitals in the Philadelphia area, most recently at The Bryn Mawr Hospital.
She is survived by her husband Lee Weerasinghe, Ph.D. and by 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Funeral services and interment will be private for family and friends.
