Betty Smythe Mellet, of Paoli, PA., passed away on May 20, 2017 at St. Martha's Manor in Downingtown, PA.  She was 89.

Daughter of the late Robert and Eva Reeves Smythe, she was born on May 11, 1928 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was the beloved wife of the late William M. Mellet, Jr.  Devoted mother of Christine Cancelmo (Tom). Loving grandmother of Maggie, Kelly and Thomas Cancelmo.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 26, 10:30 AM at St. Norbert Church, 50 Leopard Rd., Paoli, PA. where relatives and friends may visit after 9:30 AM.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
