Our beloved Mother, Bette Anne (Butera) Barr of Springfield, PA passed away on March 4, 2018. Bette was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Bette was 88.

Bette was preceded in death by her loving parents James and Mary Butera, her husband Charles Thomas Barr, her son Thomas Barr and six siblings. Bette is survived by seven children, John and Laurie Barr, Mary and Francis Corey, Catherine and John Byrd, Bette Anne and Carl Camagna, James and Kathy Barr, Robert Barr, William Barr, 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, brothers-in-law John McDermott and Harry Pholig.

In her younger years, Bette excelled in many sports including tennis, field hockey and bowling in her father's bowling alley in Ardmore. Bette found much joy in family gatherings and taking part in daily mass each day on EWTN at 8:00am.

Mom, you will be forever missed…until we meet again in heaven.

Funeral services and interment are private for the family.
