Barbara Davey Fitzgerald, of West Chester, Pa, died on Thursday November 7, 2019 at Wellington at Hershey's Mill, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born March 14, 1934 in Nanticoke, Pa.  She was the only child of Harry and Marion Davey. She attended Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School and went on to earn a degree in English Education from Wilson College.  She later attended Villanova University, where she earned a Masters degree in school counseling.  She was employed as an elementary school counselor in Radnor Township for 20+ years.  Together with her husband, Robert, she was very active in church and community activities but loved her time with family the most.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert A. Fitzgerald and her youngest child, Greg Fitzgerald.  She is survived by her children, Robert (Sue) Fitzgerald, Shawn (Conrad) Ridgway, Timothy (Erin)Fitzgerald and Megan (Michael) Romano.  She was worshipped by her 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and will forever be a model to her loved ones for her selflessness, kindness and warmth.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday November 18 ^th , from 9:30-10:30 AM  followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd, West Chester, PA.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
