Barbara B. Anderson (nee Brown), of Bryn Mawr, PA., passed away on February 24, 2025 at The Bryn Mawr Hospital.  She was 78.

Daughter of the late James B. & Elizabeth Clemens Brown, Barbara was born on November 25,1946 in Philadelphia, PA.  She was a graduate of Country Day School of the Sacred Heart and Marymount University.  Barbara worked at Haverford College for over 40 years in the admissions office and retired from there as Assistant Dean of Admissions.

Barbara was the beloved wife of John Gilbert Anderson to whom she was married on October 22, 1976.   Dear sister of Betsy, Susan, Mary, Chris, Patrick and the late James, John and Peter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited on Tuesday March 4th, Visitation from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM with Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor or to Sacred Heart Bryn Mawr .
