Obituary

Attracta J. Hallman (nee Harkins), of Boothwyn, formerly of Bryn Mawr, PA., passed away on June 4, 2009 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. She was 81.

Daughter of the late John and Theresa Callery Harkins, she was born in Bryn Mawr in 1928 and lived there for over 70 years. She was a graduate of Haverford High School. Her employment included working as a clerk for Philadelphia Suburban Water Co., working as an operator at The Bryn Mawr Hospital and she was also retired from Sears Roebuck. Mrs. Hallman loved spending time with her family, playing cards, reading and staying up late to watch QVC and old game shows. She lived at Naamans Creek Manor for the past 2 years.

Attracta was the beloved wife of the late James C. Hallman. Devoted mother of James C, Jr. (Lisa) and John W. (Christine). Loving grandmother of Jennifer Davis and Jim, Gina and Julia Hallman. Dear sister of Rose Holloran, Dot Roberts, Tess Sullivan and the late Rev. Hermin Harkins. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren and 2 grandpuppies.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday June 10, 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
