Dr. Arnold Robert Goldman of Wynnewood, formerly a longtime resident of Merion Station, died on August 27th in Lankenau Hospital after a long illness. Dr. Goldman was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was 80 years old. After graduating from Brooklyn College (1956), Dr. Goldman moved on to Stanford University where he received a Doctorate Degree in Psychology. At his death, he was a retired psychologist and health care consultant. Part of his career included working at Jefferson Hospital before launching his own hospital consulting business and healthcare newsletter "Practical Communications". He retired in 2000. Dr. Goldman is survived by his wife Patricia Rayfield, daughters Susan Koch and Lisa McGovern, son Eric Goldman, two step sons, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
