Anne R.
Gallagher
September 30, 1922 – August 17, 2022
Anne R. Gallagher (nee Mckee) passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2022 with family. She was 99 years of age, daughter of Catherine and William McKee. She was born in Ardmore, PA. She was a woman devoted to her faith, her family and friends.
Anne would always greet you with a smile no matter what life was dishing out. She loved interacting with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always willing to help solve a problem with a helping hand or words of wisdom. Sometimes a side comment was made, but everyone knew the side comment was made to make one feel better.
Anne was a devoted Catholic, she enjoyed her prayer group, Bible study class and especially saying the rosary with her friends in the parish.
Anne and Francis, who passed away in 2017, were married for 71 years enjoyed each other's company with respect, absolute love and daily laughter. They also enjoyed a family of eight children: Terry (Mike Curran), Frank (Karyn), Joe (Chris), Mary (Tom Tract), Dean (deceased David McNichol), Bern (Charlie Sherman), Doll (Paul McElhaney) and the late Paul. They enjoyed raising their children, who gave them 25 grandchildren and they in return brought 8 great-grandchildren into this happy atmosphere.
Anne, Mom, Mom-Mom, Aunt Annie, Annie Girl, and in Francis' eyes "My Bride" has touched many lives and will be missed.
