Anne Marie Fallahnejad (nee Cusack), 77, of Bryn Mawr, PA, formerly of Gladwyne, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28th, 2023 while in hospice at the Quadrangle in Haverford.

Born in New York City on August 2, 1945, Anne was the daughter of the late Bernard, and Ellen (nee Fraser) Cusack. The family later moved to Camden, New Jersey where they welcomed her younger brother, Robert, and lived close to her maternal grandparents.

Anne loved philosophy, movies, and any chance to silently think and contemplate the world. An exceptionally gifted student and valedictorian, she was accepted to medical school at Hahnemann University (now Drexel) and was one of only six women in her graduating class. After completing medical school, she became a pathologist, practicing for several years before choosing to stay home to raise her children.  Later in life, she chose to pursue her passion for philosophy, studying theology at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary.

Anne was a loving mother and wife. Surviving her are her two children, Fatema of Seattle, WA and Robert and his wife, Kathleen (nee Roach) of Bryn Mawr, PA; five grandchildren, Jasper, Silas, Wyatt, Townes, and Grace. She was predeceased by her husband, Manucher, as well as her younger brother, Robert. She also joins her mother and grandparents who died tragically while traveling with her in Ireland on a family trip celebrating her graduation from medical school.

A deeply private person, Anne will be laid to rest with her husband at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken by her children. A memorial service for friends and family will be held in the near future.
