Anna H. "Ann" Herrmann passed away on October 28, 2021 at her residence in Philadelphia, PA. She was 94.

Daughter of the late John and Anna Hazel McLaughlin Herrmann, Ann was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 17, 1926.  She was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, class of 1944.

Ann was the dear sister of the late John J. Herrmann (Teresa).  Loving aunt of Anna "Honey" Foster (Larry), John Herrmann (Lori), Thomas Herrmann (Karen), Michael Herrmann, Tracy McFadden and the late Christine Herrmann.  She is also survived by numerous grandnieces & nephews and great-grandnieces & nephews.

Ann grew up in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia.  She worked as a secretary for a temporary agency for a variety of different companies.  Ann was always out and about socializing with friends and attending her "old folks" groups.  She volunteered her time at a variety of different organizations helping both children and adults.  She was an active member of the Catholic Churches she attended as well as her adopted church, Living Waters Baptist Church, where she packed and distributed food for the needy and especially enjoyed participating in activities with the children.  She was a loyal friend and loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews and was a very special part of their lives.

Relatives and friends are invited on Tuesday November 2nd to her Viewing at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Matthias Church, 128 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, PA.   For those unable to attend the Funeral Mass, it will be livestreamed from the parish website at www.saintmatthias.org

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
