Allan J. Ford, of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on April 14, 2023. He was 96.

Allan was born on July 20, 1926 in Philadelphia to Joseph and Helen Ford (née Gillespie). He grew up in Upper Darby Township attending St. Laurence Elementary School and Upper Darby High School Class of 1944. Allan was a Navy Veteran of World War II in the Pacific Campaign and China Theater. He graduated form University of Pennsylvania, Class of 1951.  He had a long and successful career in advertising, including among his clients, RCA, Ford Motor Company, and as Director of Advertising for Faberge.

Allan was married to Mary E. Ford (née Schrandt) for 44 years prior to her passing in 1997.  He is survived by his daughter Lisa Ford, granddaughter Kate Ford Knight, his son Robert Ford and daughter-in-law Janet, and granddaughters Katy Ford and Caroline Ford Howard.

Relatives and friends are invited on Friday April 21st, 9:30 AM Visitation with a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Margaret of Antioch Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth PA. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
