Agnes E. Nixon (nee Eckhardt), of Rosemont, PA., passed away on September 28, 2016 at The Quadrangle in Haverford, PA. She was 93.

Daughter of the late Harry and Agnes Dalton Eckhardt, she was born on December 10, 1922 in Chicago, IL.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H.A. Nixon. Devoted mother of Catherine N. Chicos (Paul), Mary Nixon, Robert Nixon (Sarah) and Emily Nixon. Loving grandmother of Ceara Foley, Kelly Eisenberg (Jeff), Erin Pfeiffer (Matthew), Amy Chicos, Oliver Langworthy (Rebecca), Rory Hiltbrand, Galen Hiltbrand, Robert Nixon, Maggie Nixon and Jack Nixon. Dear great-grandmother of Faye Foley, Emma Eisenberg and Riley Pfeiffer.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 1, 10:30 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Chapel, 1229 E. Lancaster Ave., Rosemont, PA. The burial will be private for the family. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation Friday from 6 to 9 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA.
